New CCO Web Site Delivers Easily Accessible Information and Tools
Cancer Care Ontario has launched a new and improved web site in conjunction with the recent release of the new Ontario Cancer Plan. (Read more about the Ontario Cancer Plan in this issue of Ontario Cancer News.)

Dozens of CCO staff and stakeholders were consulted to help ensure that the new site will support and drive cancer system goals and priorities. Thanks to their feedback, and the efforts of many CCO staff, the design and content have been refreshed and updated to make the site more appealing and easier to navigate. We've also added some context to help those users who may not be familiar with CCO and Ontario's cancer system. The result is a site that better reflects Cancer Care Ontario and speaks directly to our users.

This is just the first step in developing CCO's new web presence. Future improvements -- including exciting new features and functionality, and continued improvements in navigation -- will enhance the quality and usability of information for stakeholders, the public and patients. A new governance and operations structure will help to ensure that the site remains fresh, accurate and relevant.
